Oh, no!  It's a very hard situation.

In the basic strategy of Blackjack, split is recommended.
But I think many players hesitate about whether to make a choice.

I conducted a Blackjack experiment to calculate the winning percentages for the three choices, split, hit and stay.

The following two graphs show the percentages of each outcome.

A couple of months ago, I collected 50 data in the same situation.
But the experiment was conducted under the European no hole card style.
It's a harsh style.

Then the following two graphs show the results based on the 100 data.

Get ready to lose at a rate of about 1/2 when you've decided it.
Focusing on the winning rate, I think it's no too bad.
During the experiment, there were only a few triple wins despite such a difficult situation.

Seeing the graph, we would make a despairing sigh.
Since two 8s is hand 16, if allowed, surrender is preferable to hitting it.

From this graph, stay is rather preferable to hit.
It's obvious that this choice is also disadvantageous.



The results except for a tie are as follows.

Winning Rate
Split 38%    Hit 19%    Stay 23%

The chip's fluctuation
Split -34 chips    Hit -59 chips    Stay -54 chips


After all, splitting 8s against D's 10 is the best of all the choices.

I'm a Japanese man, Nokkie, who is a fan of Blackjack.

When I traveled in Australia before, I was really into playing Blackjack in Casino.
 It was kind of brand-new to me, because there's no Casino in Japan so far.

Instead of playing it abroad, I decided to verify the basic strategy of Blackjack (BS for short) in order to become a smarter player.

Most Casino players tend to lose.
Some play with an anger, some play while drinking a lot, etc.
They are good customers for Casino.  It seems so easy for Casino to get money from them.

Then, what are the bad customers like?

I believe that smart players are applicable.

Then, what are the smart players like?

I have several answers to this question.

★First, knowing about the basic strategy well.

★Second, having your own rule and following it.

★Third, raising a greater mental power.

What do you think?


Anyway,  I have a dream.

I wanna play Blackjack in Casino with smart players all.
And then, I wanna share a wonderful time with them.
Of course, I wanna get lots of winning money.
