[Pontoon,Spanish 21] hard 17 vs Dealer's Ace
Why does BS say, "Hit hard 17."

Hello, everyone.
I'm a Japanese guy, Nokkie.
Today I bought new playing cards for my new videos.
They are for Pontoon (Spanish 21).
It's not so common compared to Blackjack, I guess.
So I wanna tell you that it has some merits.
For example, there are many kinds of bonus such as three 7s, 6-7-8, 5-card-21 etc.
The odds are 3 to 2 or better as far as I know.
Its basic strategy is different from the one in Blackjack.
For example, when a player's hand is hard 17 and a dealer's initial card is Ace, 'hit' is recommended in the BS of European no hole card Pontoon.
Many of you may say it's strange.

The following two graphs show the percentages of each outcome based on the 100 data.
As I expected, it's difficult for the player to win in this situation.Fortunately taking a card of 4, we definitely win, because this game is Pontoon.
It's a positive aspect of Pontoon.
In my case, I would hit 4 card-hard 17, because we will get the bonus.
The odds are 3-2 when 5-card-21 in Aussie casinos.
I think surrender may be a good choice.
However, the original bet will be taken when the dealer's hand is Pontoon (Ace & any picture).
The winning rate is quite hopeless.
In Pontoon, the dealer must hit soft 17.
So his hand is unlikely to become hand 17, in comparison to Blackjack.
The results except for a tie are as follows:
Winning Rate
Hit 18% Stay 10%
The chip's fluctuation
Hit -61 chips Stay -74 chips
To sum up, hitting hard 17 is preferable to stay.
The renewal is done.
I hope it will become interesting to you.
I'll go to improve another article.
