[Blackjack] Two 8s vs Dealer's Ace
It's one of the most difficult situations, right?

In the basic strategy of Blackjack, split is recommended.
But few players are willing to choose split in this hard situation.
Then most players tend to be stuck on deciding which action to take.
I wonder how we could win following the BS.
I conducted a Blackjack experiment to calculate the winning percentages for the three choices, split, hit and stay.
In the following video, there are 20 scenes selected from all.
The playback time is about 13min.
(Shortened the time by editing the original video.)
▼Results of Part 1▼
In Part 1, the experiment was conducted under the hole card style.
The following three graphs show the results based on the 50 data.
▼Results of Part 2▼
In Part 2, the experiment was conducted under the no hole card style.
It's more harsh than the hole card style.
The following three graphs show the results based on the 50 data.
Lastly, the following three graphs show the results based on the 100 data.
The tie is not too bad, is it?
No need to be greedy.
We would lose at a rate of about 5/6.
That's terrible!
The losing rate is almost the same as the one of Hit.
That's also terrible.
The results except for a tie are as follows:
Winning Rate
Split 29% Hit 14% Stay 17%
The chip's fluctuation (Bet amount: 1 chip every time)
Split -51 chips Hit -69 chips Stay -66 chips
To sum up, split is the most preferable of the three choices.
If surrender is allowed, it might be the best choice.
That's all.
Hope this article will be useful.
Good luck.
Bye.
