[BJ Strategy Match] BS vs Aggressive
Hi, there.
I'm a Japanese guy, Nokkie.
One of my casino friends lined me last night.
He has been enjoying his trip in the Philippines.
He seems to have fun with not only playing casino games, but also playing with young girls.
I wonder why he went on a trip, because he lost lots of money on foreign exchange trading last year.
I will ask him the reason.
In his line texting, he said, "A player at the same table complained about my decision when the dealer's hand became strong. He didn't praise me when my decision was good, but he was just quiet then." (He seems to have played at the third base.)
I understand his circumstances.
He and I used to argue with such a selfish person.
But now, we are already tired from that kind of argument.
If I meet with such a nasty situation, what should I do?
Maybe it will be no use explain about the situation logically.
Should I apologize to the person?
No, I don't know why to do so.
Just saying "Unlucky." may be the best response.
Anyway, I'm really into the strategy match these days.
It's fun for me to think of a new strategy suitable to fight against BS.
The opponent against Mr. BS this time is Mr. Aggressive.
He definitely chooses 'hit' until his hand becomes 17 or stronger.
Besides he always doubles down and splits a pair if allowed.
Which strategy do you think is better to win?
First, I took a test with European style.
One opened card is dealt out for Dealer at the beginning.
Dealer's second card is dealt out after all the players' decisions.
▼Practical Test Part 7▼
During the test, I thought it was so hard that I could not act like Mr. Aggressive.
Because I will have to double down without hesitation when my hand is 9 and a dealer's initial card is Ace.
The result was not good as I expected.
However, such an aggressive strategy is not always terrible.
Improved it, it might turn into a better one.
Next, I took a test with American style.
Two cards are dealt out for Dealer at the beginning.
One is opened and the other is placed upside down.
We call the hidden card hole card.
When it is 10 or A, the dealer needs to say, "Checking for blackjack."
And then, every player wishes the dealer's hand will NOT be BJ.
If so, all the players become losers before their decisions.
Players who have BJ at that time will feel empty.
Some of them shouts, "Even money!", and they get even winning chips.
In my case, I never choose it.
I wanna get BJ bonus (3 to 2).
From the point of view of the probability, even money is NOT a reasonable choice.
Because it is NOT just 50%!
▼Practical Test Part 8▼
At first, Mr. Aggressive was in a very good condition.
The more he doubled down or split, the more his chips increased.
However, his great luck didn't go on.
On the way of the test, it got upset.
That's scary.
The player's chips may be roughly doubled at the most.
Unless the betting amount is changed well, it seems quite difficult to increase the player's chips more than double.
In other words, it may be high time we stop the game if our chips reach double.
After some rest, we should play it again.
It might be a key to victory.
If you agree with this idea, try doing it.
That's all for today.
Thank you for reading my article and watching my videos.
I hope they will be useful.
Have a good weekend. Bye.
