I'm a Japanese guy, Nokkie. I'm a cram school teacher and normally work in the evening. When I have time, I make a study of Blackjack through taking a test practically. I wanna become a smarter blackjack player in the future. I've been seeking for a convincing rule recently.

[Pontoon Card Counting] 2-BOX If +5, bet 5 times

Pontoon Card Counting

What about in Pontoon (Spanish 21)?
In Pontoon, 10's cards are NOT used.

Then the counting rule as follows:
Suppose that we count Ace as negative 2.
The the total amount of the running count is zero.

About 2-9, the rule is same as in Blackjack.

In this experiment, the player started with 120 chips and normally puts 2 chips on every betting.
He follows the basic strategy of Pontoon and makes use of 2 boxes.
If the running count reaches +5, he bets 5 times his original bet.

This video consists of the first two shoes.
About 60% of the 6 decks is used in one shoe.
The playback time is about 20 min.

The card counting might be effective for Pontoon as well.
I need to continue the experiment to clearly say it's effective.

In fact, the BS of Pontoon is much more complicated.
I also need to learn it by heart properly.

That's all.
I hope my article will be interesting.
Thank you for reading it.

Additional Writing

I continued where I left off last time.

This video consists of the 3rd shoe & the 5th shoe.
(The 4th shoe was skipped because the running count was always below +5.)
The playback time is about 20 min.

I hope there are some hand-shuffling Pontoon tables left.
Finding one anywhere, I wanna try the card counting then.
