In this blog, there are lots of results gained by card game experiments. Blackjack, Pontoon, Caribbean Poker, etc.

[Blackjack Card Counting] 2-BOX, if +5, bet 5 times.

Blackjack Card Counting

Can the chance be coming?

This time, I conducted a Blackjack experiment on the card counting, using 2 boxes.
Let me explain the basic rule here again.

When 2,3,4,5 or 6 comes out of the shoe, the running count is +1.
When 7,8 or 9, it's 0.
When 10,J,Q,K or A, it's -1.
Blackjack Card Counting Rule

Actually, it was still hard for me to keep adding.
Made lots of mistakes and erased & recorded over and over.
But it was interesting to me.

Last time, the player used 1 box.
This time, he uses 2 box and bets 2 chips for each.
If the running count reaches +5, he puts 5 times his original bet.

Counting from the left hand of the player's, +1,+1,+1,+2,+3,+4,+5,+6.+5,+5.

This video consists of the three shoes.
The playback time is about 35 min.

The 1st shoe is satisfying to you, I guess.
However, we can learn two things below.

1  When the running count is far from a positive value such as +5, +6, etc., the dealer are
    unlikely to bust his hand.
In this situation, we shouldn't gamble a lot.

2  When we introduce this method to our playing, we should play it with patience.
Once we've decided to do it, we should obey it.

The result of the 2nd shoe is really amazing. isn't it?

If I found a hand-shuffle blackjack, I would try the card counting system.
However, I have no companions for that.

The player's bankroll has been steadily increasing so far.
I wonder how he could win with this method.

Look forward to the next shoe.

[Blackjack Card Counting] If +5, bet 5 times.

Blackjack Card Counting

Answering the request, I tried it.

This time, I conducted a Blackjack experiment on the card counting.
Many of you already know about it.
Let me explain the basic rule here.

When 2,3,4,5 or 6 comes out of the shoe, the running count is +1.
When 7,8 or 9, it's 0.
When 10,J,Q,K or A, it's -1.
Blackjack Card Counting Rule

Actually, it was hard for me to keep adding.
The card counting while making hands was confusing me.
Practicing it more, I could do it better.

In this experiment, the player makes use of 1 box and normally put 2 chips on his bet.
If the running count reaches +5, he bets 5 times.

▼Example▼
Counting from the player's hand, the running count is +1,+2,+3,+4,+4,+5,+5.

This video consists of several shoes.
In one shoe, about 60 % of the 6 decks is used.
The playback time is about 35 min.

If you have a strong intention to introduce the counting to your playing, you should practice it.
In casinos, we cannot memorize the running count by saying.

After I finished the 2nd shoe, I felt it was still hard for me to conduct it properly.
However, will keep it up until I've got a clear result.

To be continued.

[Caribbean Poker] Pair Raise Strategy

Caribbean Poker Strategy

Raise! if you have one pair at the least.

It's brand-new here!
I just started experiments on Caribbean Stud Poker today.

This time, the experiment was conducted following Pair Raise Strategy.
If the player's hand is one pair or better, he will raise (call).

Compared to Blackjack experiments, it's quite hard to keep it up.
Card shuffling must be done every game.
So I'll continue this experiment bit by bit.

This video consists of 30 games
The playback times is about 25 min.

This graph shows the result of the first 10 games.
It was hard for the player to win properly this time.

The player started with 20 chips and ended with 16 chips.
So he lost 4 chips.

According to the information from the Internet, the house edge in this Poker is about 5 %.
Isn't it high?

Seeing the percentage, we might avoid playing it.
However, there are attractive odds in the Poker.
For example, 7 to 1 for Full House, 20 to 1 for Four of a kind, etc.

If we should have Royal Flush, we will win 100 to 1.
Royal Flush?
Who wins?
I've never got it nor seen someone get it.

Caribbean Stud Poker is like a lottery.
We have to keep playing it patiently, wishing for a better hand.

This graph shows the result of the 20 games (R01-R20).
From this result, many players might avoid playing it.

The player started with 20 chips and ended with 9 chips.
So he lost 11 chips.

I guess we would be defeated gradually.
However, the players must be waiting for a big winning.
They are really patient, aren't they?

This graph shows the result of the 30 games (R01-R30)
It's getting better.

The player started with 9 chips and ended with 13 chips.
So he won 4 chips.

Look forward to the next part.

[Blackjack Box Match] 1-BOX vs 2-BOX

Box Match

Do you use 1 box or 2 boxes?

In Blackjack, some players make use of 1 box only, while others make use of 2 boxes.
Which way would be effective to win?

I conducted a Blackjack experiment to calculate the winning percentages for both patterns.

The players follows the basic strategy.
This video consists of 15 scenes (R01-15).
The playback time is about 15 min.

I collected more 85 data after recording the video.

The following graphs show the results based on the 100 data.
We would lose at a rate of 1/2.

As I expected, the tie rate was high.

The results except for a tie

 are as follows:

Winning Percentages
1BOX-2unit 45%    2BOX-1unit 51%

The chips fluctuation
1BOX-2unit -17 chips    2BOX-1unit +12 chips

To sum up, the 2-BOX is more preferable than the 1-BOX.

During the experiment, a big winning occurred with the 2 boxes.
On the left hand, split the pair and one for doubling, the other for normal.
On the right hand, doubling.
There was 5 hands in total and none of them were busted.
But the dealer busted his hand and the player won 5 times!
Isn't it wonderful?

If you wanna play for long hours, the 2-BOX is recommended from this experiment.

That's all.
I'm happy to get decent comments on Youtube today.
They motivate me to create new videos.
I appreciate it.

Thank you for reading.
Bye.

[Blackjack] Two 8s vs Dealer's 2

Blackjack Strategy

Are you willing to split it?
88 vs D2 in Blackjack

In the basic strategy of Blackjacksplit is recommended.
But some players stand on the pair as hand 16, not split it.

Since Dealer's 2 is slightly dangerous, I understand why they avoid splitting it.
Are there any differences of the results of the two choices?

I conducted a Blackjack experiment to calculate the winning percentages for both.

In this video, there are 20 scenes from all.
The playback time is about 15 min.

Results of the experiment

The following two graphs show the results based on the 100 data.
Blackjack Experiment Result of split (88 vs D2)
Isn't it the result as we expected?

Blackjack Experiment Result of stay (88 vs D2)
This result is not bad.
It also means the result of standing on 16 vs D's 2.

The results except for a tie

 are as follows:

Winning Percentages
Split 45%    Stay 44%

The chips fluctuation
Split -19 chips    Stay -12 chips
(Bet amount: 1 chip every time)

To sum up, it's difficult to say clearly which choice is better to win.
After all, all we have to do may be to guess the next card number.

One more graph.
Blackjack Experiment Result of 3-unit win (88 vs D2)

The 3-unit win means, for example, one is a double down hand and the other is a normal hand.
Splitting 8s and taking a card of 2 or 3, we will be able to double down, following the BS.

Mentioning more about the graph above, the player succeeded in 3-unit winning 11 out of 23 times actually.
In addition, he won fourfold 2 out of 11 times.
But no fourfold defeats luckily.

From this result, I don't recommend we split 8s against D's 2.

That's all.

Good luck for your 8's splitting.
Wish for 4-unit winning.
Bye.

[Blackjack Strategy Battle] BS vs Greedy vs Fif-Surre

Strategy Battle

Is BS the best strategy of the three?

The opponents against BS are as follows:

One is Greedy Strategy.
1  Always double down nor split a pair if allowed.
2  Basically follow the basic strategy.

The other is Fif-Surre Strategy.
1  Hit 14 or less.
2  Surrender on 15 or 16.
3  Stand on 17 or more.
4  Never double down nor split a pair.

Fif-Surre means Fifteen-Surrender
Most players know hand 15 or 16 is disadvantageous to win.
In this strategy, we're thoroughly defensive against the two week hands.

I conducted a Blackjack experiment to calculate the winning percentages of each strategy.

In the following video, there are 20 scenes selected from all.
The playback time is about  15 min.
(I shortened a few minutes by editing the original video.)

Results of the experiment

The following graphs show the results based on the 100 data.
This strategy is a kind of oddity.
Actually the player split 2s against Dealer's 10.
Besides, doubling down after the splitting.
The winning rate is somehow not bad, is it?

Surrender on 15 or 16 is preferable under a terrible condition.
However, the winning rate is not good.
Actually, the player chose surrender 28 out of 100 times.
Isn't it many times?

Look at this graph.
The surrender was successful at a rate of about 2/3.
It may be a good result.
On the other hand, the player sometimes failed to have a chance to gain chips because of the frequent surrender.

Blackjack Experiment Result of BS (Strategy Battle 03)
This time the result was the worst of the past three.
I think it sometimes happens.
It's almost the same result as Greedy's.

The results except for a tie

 are as follows:

Winning Rate

Fif-Surre 33%    Greedy 45%    BS 44%

The chip's fluctuation (Bet amount: 2 chips every time)

Fif-Surre -35 chips    Greedy -13 chips    BS -15 chip

To sum up, Greedy is the most preferable of the three.
However, there's not a big difference of the two results, Greedy & BS.

Then BS wins two battles & loses one battle so far.

That's all.
I hope this article will be interesting.
Thank you for reading it.
Bye.

[Blackjack] 16 vs Dealer's 7

Blackjack Strategy

It's a hard time.  You surrender?
16 vs Dealer's 7 in Blackjack

In the basic strategy of Blackjackhit is recommended.
But some players choose stay or surrender.

Which choice would be the best to win?

I conducted a Blackjack experiment to calculate the winning percentages for all the choices.

In this video, there are 20 scenes selected from all the data.
The playback time is 8 min.
(Shortened the time by editing the original video.)

Results of the experiment

The following two graphs show the results based on the 100 data.
Blackjack experiment Result of hit (16 vs D7)
Hitting hand 16, we would lose by busting at a rate of 8/13 (61.5%).
That's the main factor of losing
What a hard situation!

Blackjack experiment Result of stay (16 vs D7)
That was a surprise to me.
I thought stand on 16 vs D7 was kinda lost game before this experiment.
I'm now confused about which choice to take.

The results except for a tie

 are as follows:

Winning Percentages
Hit 29%    Stay 27%

The chip's fluctuation (Bet amount: 2 chips every time)
Hit -78 chips    Stay -92 chips    Surrender -100 chips

To sum up, either choice is disadvantageous to us.
Hit is the most preferable of the three from the results.

This situation is as hard as 13 vs D2, isn't it?
Then why don't we enjoy guessing the next card number?

That' all for today.
Thank you for reading.
Bye.

[Blackjack] Two 4s vs Dealer's 6

Blackjack Strategy

Is the splitting beneficial to you?

44 vs Dealer's 6 in Blackjack

In the basic strategy of Blackjacksplit is recommended.
But some players choose hit, not split the pair.
I think quite a few players don't like 4's splitting.

Then why does the BS say?

I conducted a Blackjack experiment to calculate the winning percentages for both choices.

In this video, there are 20 scenes from all.
The playback time is about 15 min.

After recording the video, I collected more 80 data to get more precise results.

Results of the experiment

The following two graphs show the results based on the 100 data.
We would win at a rate of about 3/5.
Isn't it better than we expected?

The two graphs are so similar.
Then were there any differences between the two results?

The results except for a tie

 are as follows:

Winning Percentages
Split 63%    Hit 59%

The chips fluctuation
Split +43 chips    Hit +17 chips
(Bet amount: 1 chip every time)

To sum up, split is more preferable to win than hit.
From the result of the fluctuation, I can clearly say that it's a big chance to earn a lot.

One more graph.
The 3-unit win means, for example, one is a double down hand and the other is a normal hand.
Splitting 4s and taking a card of 5, 6, or 7, we will be able to double down.

Mentioning more about the graph above, the player succeeded in 3-unit winning 23 out of 37 times actually.
In addition, he won fourfold 5 out of 23 times.
Isn't it amazing?

I learned from this experiment that splitting 4s has a likelihood of a big winning.
I'll do it aggressively.

That's all.
Good luck for your 4's splitting.
Wish for 4-unit winning.
Bye.

[Blackjack Betting System] 2BOX-5% Betting System Last Part

Betting System

The player uses 2 boxes and bets 5% of his bankroll.

In this experiment, the player started with 120 chips.
If his bankroll reaches the double or the half, this experiment will finish.

At this stage, finished 94 games.
The following video consists of 6 games (R95-R100).
The playback time is within 5 min.

This experiment is not yet settled.
So continued to collect more data without recording.
In fact, I collected 200 data so far.

Results of the experiment

I'm going to summarize all the data below.
The following graphs show the change of the bankroll.
Blackjack Experiment Result of 2BOX-5%-Betting System (R1-R50)
At first, the player was good in shape.
The maximum was 150 chips.
But suddenly he got out of luck, and was almost defeated.

Blackjack Experiment Result of 2BOX-5%-Betting System (R51-R100)
In this part, the player miraculously escaped from his difficulty.
In addition, his bankroll reached 192 chips.
That was quite amazing!

Blackjack Experiment Result of 2BOX-5%-Betting System (R101-R150)
In the first half of this part, it was a seesaw game.
After that, the player faced the crisis again.
(If his bankroll reaches 60 chips, he will lose.)

Blackjack Experiment Result of 2BOX-5%-Betting System (R151-R200)
In this part, the player managed to avoid being defeated.
That was a surprise!
However, he couldn't get back to the initial state (120 chips).

I need to collect more data until the player's bankroll reaches 60 chips or 240 chips.
And then will attach the results here in this page as an additional writing.

[Blackjack Strategy Battle] BS vs Fif-St vs Aggressive

Strategy Battle

Is BS the best strategy of the three?

Is the basic strategy of Blackjack the best one? (Part 02)

The opponents against BS are as follows:

One is Fif-St Strategy.
1  Hit hard 14 or less
2  Stand on hard 15 or more.
3  Never double down nor split a pair.

Fif-St means Fifteen-Stay.
Standing on hand 15, the busted rate would highly decrease.
In other words, hitting hand 15, we would lose at a rate of about 54% in theory.
This strategy was made by improving the coward strategy.

The other is Aggressive Strategy.
1  Hit hard 16 or less
2  Stand on hard 17 or more.
3  Doubles  down and splits a pair as much as possible if allowed.

Following this strategy, the player must double down on hand 9 against dealer's Ace, or must split a pair of 4 against Dealer's 9, for instance.

I conducted a Blackjack experiment to calculate the winning percentages of each strategy.

In the following video, there are 20 scenes selected from all.
The playback time is about 16 min.
(I shortened a few minutes by editing the original video.)

Results of the experiment

The following graphs show the results based on the 100 data.
Blackjack Experiment Result of the Fif-St strategy
The result was a little worse than the one of the Coward Strategy.
It might be better to use the coward strategy against Dealer's low cards.

Blackjack Experiment Result of the Aggressive strategy
The result was much better than the past (against the Defensive Strategy).
The winning rates seem to depend on great luck for doubling or splitting.

Blackjack Experiment Result of the basic strategy
Compared to the Battle 01, the result got worse.
However, it is not too bad.

The results except for a tie

 are as follows:

Winning Rate

Fif-St 47%    Aggressive 46%    BS 48%

The chip's fluctuation (Bet amount: 2 chips every time)

Fif-St -8 chips    Aggressive -6 chips    BS 0 chip

To sum up, BS is the best strategy of the three.

Then BS wins two battles in a row so far.
I wonder if BS is the best strategy after all.

That's all.
I hope this article will be useful.
Thank you for reading it.
Bye.

[Pontoon, Spanish 21] Two 8s vs Dealer's Ace

Pontoon (Spanish 21 ) Strategy

Do you know we should hit two 8s in Pontoon?
Two 8s against Dealer's Ace in Pontoon (Spanish 21)

In the basic strategy of Pontoonhit is recommended.
In the basic strategy of Blackjack, however, split is recommended.

Why are they different?

I conducted a Pontoon experiment to calculate the winning percentages for the three choices, hit, split and stay..

In this video, there are 17 scenes selected from the 100 data.
The playback time is about 12 min.

Results of the experiment

The following graphs show the results based on the 100 data.
Pontoon Experiment Result of hit (88 vs Ace)
Surprisingly, the result is completely the same as the one in Blackjack.
Check out this article→[Blackjack] Two 8s vs Dealer's Ace
I don't know why we should follow the BS.

Pontoon Experiment Result of split (88 vs Ace)
Compared to the other graphs, this is preferable.
During the experiment, I saw 678-21 three out of 100 times.
Besides, in some scenes, either of the two hands luckily won at hand 21 by hitting.

Pontoon Experiment Result of stay (88 vs Ace)
That's a terrible result as well in Blackjack.

The results except for a tie

are as follows:

Winning Percentages
Hit 14%    Split 23%    Stay 18%

The chip's fluctuation
Hit -138 chips    Split -173 chips    Stay -128 chips
(Bet amount: 2 chips every time)

To sum up, we shouldn't choose hit, following the BS.

It's difficult to clearly say which is better, split or stay.
Well, if surrender is allowed, it may be a good choice.

Considering the fluctuation, stay would be rather better than split.

When I play Pontoon in Australia, I will choose split.
Because the dealer takes the original bet only when his hand is Pontoon (Ace& any picture card).
I like the Aussie rule.

That's all.
Hope this article will be good tips to you as well.
Enjoy your Pontoon.
Good luck.

[Blackjack Betting System] 2BOX-5%-Betting System Part 04

Betting System

Can the player increase his bankroll this time?

In this Blackjack experiment, the player makes use of the 2 boxes and bets 5% of his bankroll for each box.

At the beginning, he started with 120 chips.

▼Result of the 3rd Shoe▼
Result of the 3rd Shoe in 2BOX-5%-Betting System
What a great increase!
The player got out of the pinch.
On the way, his bankroll returned to the initial.
After that, he had a pleasant seesaw match.
The maximum was 145 chips.

How will the match proceed in the next shoe?

The following video is the part 04.
Hope you will enjoy it.
The playback time is within 20 min.

Wasn't it an exciting match?
I think this betting system is more interesting than I expected.

Anyway, I will attach the result (graph) of this shoe to the next article.
Look forward to it.

That's all for today.
Thank you for reading.
Bye.

[Pontoon Strategy Battle] BS vs Coward vs Mimcry

Is BS the best strategy of the three?
Pontoon Experiment of Strategy Battle 01

This article is NOT about Blackjack, BUT about Pontoon (Spanish 21).

The opponents against BS are as follows:

One is Coward Strategy.
1  Stand on hand 12 or more regardless of Dealer's face-up card.
2  Never double down nor split a pair.

The other is Mimicry Strategy.(Dealer's Strategy)
1  Always stand on hard 17 or more.
2  Always hit hard 16 or less.

I conducted a Pontoon experiment to calculate the winning percentages of each strategy.

The following video consists of the 20 games.
The playback time is about 10 min.
(I shortened a few minutes by editing the original video.)

After recording the video, I collected more 80 data, and then got 100 data in all.

The following graphs show the results based on the 100 data.
Pontoon Experiment Result of Coward Strategy
In this strategy, we can avoid defeats by busted hands.
For example, occasionally win at hand 14 against Dealer's 9.

Pontoon Experiment Result of Mimicry Strategy
When we feel the dealer is so strong, some of us might imitate his strategy.
However, the winning rate is not good as we expect.
That's why the player loses by his busted hands before the dealer's turn.
At that time, even though the dealer busts his hand, the player is not a winner.

Pontoon Experiment Result of Basic Strategy
Unlike the BS of Blackjack, the Pontoon BS is quite complicated.
For example, the player must hit hand 13 against Dealer's 5.
During this experiment, the player got 5-card-21 only once.
This is a merit by hitting.

The results except for a tie are as follows:

Winning Rate

Coward 42%    Mimicry 42%    BS 43%

The chip's fluctuation (Bet amount: 2 chips every time)

Coward -26 chips    Mimicry -23 chips    BS -23 chips

To sum up, we cannot decide which strategy is the best based on just the results.

That's all.
Hope this article will be useful.
Thanks for reading.
Have a nice day.
Bye.

[Blackjack Strategy Battle] BS vs Coward vs Mimicry

Strategy Battle

Is BS the best strategy of the three?
Is the basic strategy of Blackjack the best one?

The opponents against BS are as follows:

One is Coward Strategy.
1  Stand on hand 12 or more regardless of Dealer's face-up card.
2  Never double down nor split a pair.

The other is Mimicry Strategy.(Dealer's Strategy)
1  Always stand on hard 17 or more.
2  Always hit hard 16 or less.

I conducted a Blackjack experiment to calculate the winning percentages of each strategy.

The following video consists of the 20 games.
The playback time is about 13 min.
(I shortened a few minutes by editing the original video.)

After recording the video, I collected more 80 data, and then got 100 data in all.
The card shuffling was done once every 25 games.

Results of the experiment

The following graphs show the results based on the 100 data.
Blackjack Experiment Result of the coward strategy
Isn't the result good unexpectedly?
In this strategy, there's no defeat by busted hands.
This might be a good key not to lose.

Blackjack Experiment Result of the mimicry strategy
In this strategy, the player sometimes suffers from hitting a rubbish hand such as 16 when the dealer's face-up card is 6.
However, such a pain occasionally brings the player to the victory.
At a blackjack table, a Mimicry player might be necessary to defeat the dealer together.

Blackjack Experiment Result of the basic strategy
The BS player lost 8 times in a row during this experiment.
However, the winning rate is above 1/2 a little bit.
Once we've decided to follow the BS, it is important for us not to changing the strategy.

The results except for a tie

 are as follows:

Winning Rate

Coward 54%    Mimicry 49%    BS 58%

The chip's fluctuation (Bet amount: 2 chips every time)

Coward +23 chips    Mimicry +7 chips    BS +39 chips

To sum up, BS is the best strategy of the three.

That's all.
Hope this article will be useful.
Thanks for reading.
Have a nice day.
Bye.
