[Blackjack] Two 3s vs Dealer's 6
Blackjack Strategy
Can you be aggressive when splitting it?
In the basic strategy of Blackjack, split is recommended.
But some players hit the pair as hand 6.
I wonder how we could win following the BS.
I conducted a Blackjack experiment to calculate the winning percentages for both choices, split and hit.
This video consists of 20 games in the above situation.
The playback time is about 15min.
After recording the video, I collected more 30 data.
Plus, I already have 50 data in the same situation (under the European no hole card style).
Results of the experiment
Then the following two graphs show the results based on the 100 data.
I've thought the winning rate would become higher.
It was fairly low.
There 's NOT a big difference between the two results above.
The results except for a tie
are as follows:
Winning Percentages
Split 46% Hit 48%
The chip's fluctuation
Split -11 chips Hit -4 chips
(Bet amount: 1 chip every time)
To sum up, hitting the pair is rather preferable than splitting it.
One more graph below.
In this experience, the player had 3-unit betting chance 31 out of 100 times.
The chance means, for example, after splitting, one is a doubled hand and the other is normal.
If the player wins all, some people call it 3-unit win.
In this experiment, he won triple at a rate of 52%.
It was not bad.
We shouldn't have much expectations of the 3-unit betting in this situation.
Dealer's 6 is the weakest, however, the probability of the dealer's busting is not quite high.
That's all.
Hope this article will be useful.
Good luck.
Bye.
