Splitting 4s is unexpectedly interesting.

I like casino games such as Blackjack, Pontoon, Roulette and Slot machines.

I got up at about 5:30 this morning in order to create videos.
It is normally silent outdoors on weekdays early in the morning.
I can do it in comfort, thanks to such a good environment.


Today I conducted a test of Pontoon strategy.
It was about splitting a pair of 4 against Dealer's 5.

In the basic strategy of Pontoon, hit is recommended.
However, split is recommended in the BS of Blackjack.
I wondered why they were different.

That's why I decided to take a practical test of it.

From the results gained by the test, split is also recommended in Pontoon as well.
During the test, I felt it interesting, because the player had lots of chances to double down.

Since number 4 is rather small, it can make 10 or 11 easily.
For example, 4+6, 4+7, 4+3+3, 4+4+3, etc.

You should choose split if you like double down.
You will have a hell of time if both of your split hands would become hand 21 by doubling.
That time will never come unless you split.
