[Pontoon,Spanish 21] Two Aces vs Dealer's 10
Splitting Aces in this situation is scary, isn't it?

Hello, everyone.
I'm a Japanese guy, Nokkie.
I like casino games very much, but there's no casinos in Japan so far.
I just enjoy it when traveling to overseas where there are legal casinos.
I wanna be a smarter player and to win a huge amount of money someday.
To realize my dream, I make a study of casino games these days.
My favorite is Blackjack.
Pontoon is also a lot of fun for me.
Today's topic is about Pontoon strategy.
When a player's first hand is a pair of Aces and a dealer's initial card is 10, which do you usually choose, hit or split?
In the basic strategy of Pontoon, hit is recommended.
It's under European no hole card.
I need to try the European's, because I wanna play Pontoon in Australia.
As far as I know, Pontoon game in Australia is conducted with the European's.
But if we double down or split, the original bet amount will be taken when losing at Dealer's Pontoon (Ace & any picture).
It's beneficial to us.
However, I conducted a practical test in the harsh European style.
I didn't know the strategy, and definitely split Aces without checking Dealer's initial card before.
I'm skeptical about whether hit is effective to win.
What do you think?
▼Practical Test▼
The number of trials were 31 and it's no so large, though.
I think we can give credit to the results to some extent.
From the results, split was better than hit.
I can say that the b is NOT necessarily good to win.
One more thing, splitting often leads to being drawn.
The winning percentage was calculated except drawn games.
In this situation, I will be all right to take only one picture card for either of the two split hands.
Do you agree with me?
That's all.
Good luck for your splitting.
Bye.
